Jazz festival??

July. 31

Saturday, finally, Celine came back to toronto from Shanghai!! She had gone to China for 3 months for her summer vacation and visiting her family. I met her at Tim hortons right after she got back home with Violet, Rieko and Daniel. We didn't feel like we had never met for 3 months. We had conversation as usual until 2 am.

Sunday, we went to woodbine beach to see jazz performance. It was my first time to go there. (Actually, I still have never gone to even Toronto iland. So, everybody's surprised after knows that.) I had heard the beach is look like real beach before. Yes, it was true~ the sand was good as well. Oh, and there was beach only for dogs. I think that is really good idea.

We heard some music and we followed the sound BUT it was NOT jazz~~ so, we thought maybe here is not right place and then, we went to queen street. We heard sound of music again and we found the place, that was not jazz either. It was kind of south american music. We really expected real free jazz and that was the last performance. That's why we thought it would be really nice 'cause that's the finale. Usually, final performence is the best. However... there was no jazz. I don't know maybe we just couldn't find; even though there was really good jazz concert. Anyway, that music was also nice and singer was so cute. Plus, to watching some audience who were dacing with same pose and action was fun. It was so hot, we were starving and that was not jazz that we expected. So we stayed just for a while and went to Cristie to eat Kamjatang. Celine said she really missed Kamjatang.

Actually, we went to St. louis to eat chiken wings, too, today. After Celine came back we make plan just for eating almost everyday ^-^;;; Next restorant will be hooters(to see sexy waitresses!! hehe).

We went to the Jazz festival, too, and you are right, a lot of the music that was there was not really jazz. Apparently, that festival has been changing gradually over the last few years. Soon, I heard, they will stop calling it a jaz festival and start calling it just a music festival -- or maybe something else, if it turns out that they have more of one kind of music than others.

But we had a good time. Boy there were a lot of people! We didn't think of going to Christie from there, though. That's a long way!

Did you go to Hooters? I've never been to one, though they used to have one near the York campus. I think it's a KFC/Taco Bell now.
